Is anybody listening? Hearing God in a noisy world – Sunday@10am
Week 2: My sheep hear my voice
Most of us carry a phone that never stops talking: news, feeds, podcasts, group chats and everyone’s opinion. It can be hard to know which voice to listen to.
Jesus once described a sheep paddock, perhaps shared by more than one flock. In the morning a sheep farmer comes to the gate and calls, and their own sheep come out to them. The other voices haven’t gone quiet. The grazier’s sheep just know theirs. As Jesus put it, they “follow him because they know his voice.”
This Sunday, in week 2 of our series Is Anybody Listening? Hearing God in a noisy world, we ask where we hear God most clearly. The letter to the Hebrews gives a short answer: God spoke long ago through the prophets, “but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son.”
A light lunch will be served following the service.
All Welcome
