Welcome to our Advent Series: O Come Let Us Adore Christ the Lord. Advent is a four-week season preceding Christmas. It is an opportunity to remember, reflect and prepare in light of the arrival of Jesus Christ first as a baby at Christmas and anticipating Christ return at the end of time. Each week of Advent focuses on a different theme—hope, peace, joy, and love—celebrated by Christians around the world.

In this first week of Advent, we advance the process of preparation by considering how we might subvert anxiety with hope.
