Advent is a four-week season preceding Christmas. It is an opportunity to remember, reflect and prepare in light of the arrival of Jesus Christ first as a baby at Christmas and anticipating Christ return at the end of time. Each week of Advent focuses on a different theme—hope, peace, joy, and love—celebrated by Christians around the world.
