DESCRIPTION:The Argus – Monday 27 July 1925\nOn the last weekend in July 1925 the Ivanhoe Baptist Church opened its brand new chapel on the corner of Livingstone Street and Waterdale Road in Ivanhoe. The church\, just 13 years old at the time\, had outgrown its first chapel (now the Livingstone Community Centre Building)\, navigated a world war\, and had taken a courageous step of faith by building a new and larger chapel to carry them into the future. One hundred years later that step of courageous faith continues bless the Ivanhoe Community. \nJoin us on Sunday as we give thanks for a century of memories and ministry that have arisen from this building. \nMorning tea will be served after the service. \nAll welcome.
