DESCRIPTION:It started with wind and fire and people spilling out into the streets with a story they couldn’t keep to themselves. That was Pentecost — the birthday of the church\, the moment everything changed. \nTwo thousand years later\, the story is still moving. It moved through a small German village in 1727\, where a community started praying and didn’t stop for a hundred years — and within five years were on ships to the ends of the earth. \nIt has moved through every generation since\, carried by ordinary people who simply said yes. \nThis Sunday we celebrate Pentecost and close our seven-week series with a question that has been building since week one: now that we know the story\, what will we do with it? \nCome and celebrate. Come and be moved. Come and find your place in the big\, big story. \nThis Sunday @ 10am. Morning Tea will be served after the service. \nAll Welcome.

DESCRIPTION:What does love look like in a world that is broken — a world that\, if we’re honest\, often feels far from what it should be? \nThis Sunday we continue our series What Does Love Look Like? exploring Living as In-betweeners. As followers of Jesus we live in the tension between the world as it is and the world as God is making it — and our calling is not to retreat from that tension but to inhabit it faithfully. Drawing on Jesus’ remarkable declaration in the synagogue at Nazareth and the breathtaking vision of Revelation 21\, we’ll explore what it means to follow Jesus at this time — proclaiming good news to the poor\, freedom for the captive\, and hope for all who are waiting for things to be made right. \nLunch will be served after the service.
