We sit quietly with the weight of what Jesus gave — his body broken\, his life given\, his love complete — and we let that sink in before the celebration of Easter Sunday. \n“God demonstrates God’s own love for us in this: while we were still sinners\, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 \nJoin us on Friday 3 April at 9:30 am at Ivanhoe Baptist Church for a special\, reflective morning service as we mark together the death of Jesus. \nAll are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Each Good Friday\, Christians from across our local area walk together through the streets of Ivanhoe as a public act of witness — remembering the way of the cross and the love of Jesus who walked it. \nThis year\, join us as we walk together as one community\, united across our different churches and traditions. \nFriday 3 April | 12:00 noon \nWe gather at St James’ Anglican Church\, 252 Upper Heidelberg Road\, Ivanhoe and walk via Ivanhoe Uniting Church\, 15 Seddon Street\, Ivanhoe to Mary Immaculate Catholic Church\, 2–6 Waverley Avenue\, Ivanhoe\, where we’ll finish with a cup of tea and a chance to connect with fellow believers from across the area. \nOrganised by Banyule Churches Together. \nAll are welcome — bring your walking shoes and a friend.
