DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for a special Good Friday morning service. This gathering provides an opportunity to reflect on the significant sacrifice of Jesus and the immense love He demonstrated. Through prayers\, readings\, and songs\, we will walk together through the solemn events of Good Friday\, finding solace and hope in the midst of grief. We look forward to sharing this sacred time with you and our community. \nMorning tea will be served after the service. \nAt 12 noon we will join with Banyule Churches Together for the annual Good Friday Walk of Witness commencing at St James Anglican Church and processing to Mary Immaculate Catholic Church via Ivanhoe Uniting Church. You are welcome to join us for this walk of prayer\, reflection and witness.

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the annual Banyule Churches Together Good Friday Walk of Witness through the Ivanhoe Retail Precinct. Representatives of the local churches will walk together in prayer and unity in remembrance of Jesus’ walk through the streets of Jerusalem to his crucifixion on Golgotha two millennia ago. This solemn walk of remembrance takes the following route beginning at 12 noon: \n\nMeet at St James Anglican Church (252 Upper Heidelberg Road\, Ivanhoe)\n\nfor prayer and readings before walking along Upper Heidelberg Road to\n\n\nIvanhoe Uniting Church (19 Seddon Street\, Ivanhoe)\n\nfor prayer and readings before walking along Upper Heidelberg Road to\n\n\nMary Immaculate Catholic Church (4 Waverley Avenue\, Ivanhoe)\n\nfor prayer and readings before finishing\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to join enroute if that suits your particular situation.
