This international ecumenical service brings together Christians of all denominations in shared worship\, prayer\, and fellowship that transcends borders and cultures. \nExperience the richness of global Christian unity as we pray with and for communities around the world\, celebrating our common faith and commitment to justice\, peace\, and reconciliation. \nSt James Anglican Church Ivanhoe is hosting the event locally for Banyule Churches Together\, a partnership of Anglican\, Baptist\, Catholic and Uniting Churches in the area. \nAbout World Day of Prayer\nFounded as a laywomen’s initiative and celebrated annually on the first Friday of March\, World Day of Prayer operates under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action.” This movement unites people of various races\, cultures\, and traditions not only on this special day\, but in ongoing fellowship\, understanding\, and action throughout the year.
